Maharashtra govt permits gyms, health centres to reopen from October 25

MUMBAI: Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Saturday mentioned gymnasiums and health centres within the state will probably be allowed to reopen from Dussehra, which falls on October 25.

During a digital assembly with representatives of gyms and health centres, the chief minister mentioned group actions like zumba and yoga and steam and sauna services won’t be allowed.

“Gymnasiums and health centres are for the welfare of residents, so care must be taken to make sure that there isn’t any virus unfold. The SoPs must be strictly adopted,” he mentioned.

Thackeray mentioned the state authorities was going sluggish on lifting COVID-19 restrictions as a result of there must be no complacency.
